PLUNKET SOCIETY.
MASTEBTON BRANCH ANNUAL MEETING. MISS FITZGIBBON TO SPEAK. The Nursing Adviser to the Piunket Society, Miss Fitzgibbon, who is to be the speaker at the annual meeting of the Masterton branch of the society in the Piunket Rooms on Wednesday next at 2 p.m., has had an unrivalled experience of the work to which the society is dedicated. She was one of the early trainees at the Truby King-Harris Karitane Hospital in Dunedin and later became Matron of that institution. Subsequently Miss Fitzgibbon became Matron of the Auckland Karitane Hospital. To-day she fills the highest post Of honour the society can award to its nurses and no one can speak with a better or more complete knowledge of the work the society is doing and hopes yet to do. All who are interested in this truly magnificent work are cordially invited to attend the annual meeting of the Masterton branch and to hear Miss Fitzgibbon. The Mayor (Mr. T. Jordan) has kindly consented to take the chair.
