WEDDING.

SPACEMAN—RILEY.

The marriage took place on Wednesday in Knox Church, Masterton, of Rita, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ,C. Riley, of Opaki, and Bertram, only son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Spackmaii, Bentley Street, Masterton. The Rev. John Davie officiated and Mr. C. W. Kerry played the bedding music on the organ. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a beautiful gown of white satin, made on Grecian lines, with a train, cowl neck and long sleeves. Her long tulle veil was caught into a halo of white satin and was finished with orange blossom. Her bouquet was of spring flowers tied with white satin ribbon. She was attended by Mrs. Fenwick (cousin of the bridegroom) as matron of honour. Mrs. Fenwick wore a gown of blue and silver metalesse, with a girdle of velvet to match and a silver halo and shoes. Her bouquet was of blue and pink flowers. The best man was Mr. Arthur Whiteman. On leaving the church the bride was presented with a white satin lucky horseshoe by little Barbara Sutherland.

The bride’s mother, who received the guests, wore a floral frock with black coat, and hat to match, her p-osy being of mauve flowers and autumn leaves. The bridegroom’s mother was attired in a navy tailored costume, with navy accessories and carried a posy of autumn tints. The reception, at which 40 guests were present, was held at the residence of the bridegroom’s parents. When the bride and bridegroom left for a motor tour, the bride wore a model frock of rust shade with furs and hat to tone.
