AUSTRALIAN WOOL.
RESTRICTION OF JAPANESE PURCHASES. A TENTATIVE DECISION. (Received Wednesday, 10.10 p.m.) TOKIO, May 27. The directors of the Woollen Industry Association, comprising twenty-six companies, decided tentatively, subject to approval, to restrict purchases during the coming season of Australian wool to 250,000 bales and to buy the remainder from South Africa, New Zealand and South America.
