TO-DAY’S ELECTION.

Only a limited amount of interest has been shown in the Trust Lands Trust election which takes place today, but qualified voters should not lightly neglect the duty of going to the poll. A great deal is asked of those who undertake to act as Trustees and their task would be made in every way better worth while if they knew that they had the active support of a large proportion of the people of the Small Farm Area. On this occasion five candidates have offered themselves for three vacancies and electors owe it to themselves to cast such a vote that a real preference will be indicated for those who are elected. Considering how valuable the Trust endowment already is and how much more valuable it may be made as time goes on, electors should be very willing to take the amount of trouble that is entailed in casting a vote today.
