PERSONAL.
A farewell social was tendered to Mr. Stewart, who is leaving the district, by members of the Maiterlon branch of the New Zealand Poultry Producers’ Federation at Mr. F. Cole's residence, Chapel Street. The evening was spent in games and competitions. Musical items were rendered by Lawson Either and Janies Stewart. During the evening Mr. Rutherford, president of the branch, presented the guest with a fireside chair, after which supper was served.
