MOTOR ACCIDENT.
COLLISION ON CARTERTON ROAD. MAN ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL, Mr. Stanley Harman, of Wright Street, Masterton, was admitted to the Masterton Hospital on Saturday evening suffering from leg and other minor injuries sustained when a light truck collided with a motor cycle and sidecar which he and his father, Mr. J. F. Harman, were pushing along the Carterton Road. The motor cyclists were proceeding towards Masterton when they ran out of benzine some distance short of the bowser station. As they were pushing the machine along the road they were overtaken by a truck driven by Mr. M. D. P. Leighton, motor mechanic, of High Street. The motor cycle was badly damaged. Mr. Harman, Snr., escaped injury. The accident occurred about 5.40 p.m. and Mr. Leighton was travelling towards Masterton.
