All who believe in supporting local industry should inspect a display now being made in one of Messrs Hugo and Shearer’s windows. The display is of ladies’ silk hosiery in all shades, and men’s half hose in a wide variety of designs—products of the Masterton Hosiery and Spinning Mills. The mills have recently installed new plant for the manufacture of men’s half hose. This plant is the only one of its kind in New Zealand. The special display has been arranged to bring to the notice of residents of the town and district the good quality and reasonable prices of the Masterton brand. The shareholders of this concern are Masterton people, and fuller support by members of the public of this local industry will be for their own benefit and that of the community in general. It is claimed that the goods displayed carry their own full recommendation. Three-cow Simplex milking plant and other dairy pumps etc. advertised for sale.
