ORANGES FROM AUSTRALIA.
BAN LIFTED IN PART. FIFTY THOUSAND CASES TO BE IMPORTED. (By Telegraph—“ The Age” Special.) WELLINGTON, May 19 The Minister of Customs (the Hon. W. Nash) announces that the existing embargo on the importation of oranges from Australia has been lifted to the extent that 50,000 cases may be imported from South Australia during June, July and. August, and if supplies of Cook Islands granges are unusually low, the Government may consider extending the Australian importation.
