TASMANIA & TATTEBSALLS. FEARS OF COMPETITION. HOBART, May 18. The Tasmanian Governmerft, fearing that South Australia may be contemplating the establishment of a lottery* in competition with Tattersails, has decided that no Government official shall be permitted to give evidence before the South Australian Royal Commission on lotteries.
The Commission will sit in Hobart this week.
