Rugby notes appear on page 3. Vandalism continues at the Mount Holdsworth hut. Members of the Mount Holdsworth Club and of various tramping clubs have endeavoured for years past to keep the hut in decent order, but in spite of all their efforts vandals largely undo their repair work. Members of the volunteer working parties who carry out these repairs are most disappointed that their work is not appreciated by users of the hut. A special meeting of the Mount Holdsworth Club is to be held in the Masterton Municipal Buildings on Thursday at 8 p.m. to consider the advisability or not of carrying out further repairs. All interested are invited to attend.
