FATALITIES IN GERMANY. PARTICULARS WITHHELD. BERLIN, May 1. A second “hush hush” air crash resulted in the death of the ace Major von Lichtenfels. Fifteen persons are believed to have been killed in the crash on April 30. (The “Daily Telegraph’s” Munich correspondent reported, that eleven persons were killed when a new threpengined military aeroplane crashed from an altitude of 9000 feet at night time, following an engine explosion. The occupants included nine high officials, among whom was a police chief, who had made the flight ‘in order to inspect the effect of orders for a blackout in Augsberg. Details of the crash have not been published in Germany, and the population were warned not to give information.)
