CANCER TREATMENT.
PROMISING RESULTS OBTAINED IN SYDNEY. INJECTIONS OF ENSOL. (Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 2. Since August forty cancer patients have been treated in Sydney with injections of ensol. The solution was originated by Dr. Hendry Connell, of Canada. In all cases described by a Sydney specialist as ‘ 1 reasonably early” the cancer is stated to have disappeared and in advanced cases, though death occurred, there was previously much relief from pain and a general abatement of the symptoms. A Sydney specialist points out that Dr. Connell is careful not to announce ensol as a cure since sueh a, claim must be proved by the absence of any recurrence of the disease from five to seven years.
