SOUTH WAIRARAPA ITEMS, PIRINOA. (“The Age,’’ Special. Miss A. Hanlon presided' over a largely attended meeting of Hie Pirinoa. branch of Women’s Institute; held >in the Memorial HaJiiion Thursday.. The I following committee was elected to ‘deal with certain details for the next monthly meeting: Mesdames Gilbert, Sutherland, Atkinson, Hike MbMaster and J. Carter. Mrs Jolly and Miss Hibberd of the Martinborough branch also attended. Messrs Mcßride and Walliee are visiting this district: It is understood' that- Mias Pike, who is relieving at the local’ school, is likely to be appointed permanently- to the staff.
