SWIMMING AT SYDNEY.
N.S.W. CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY NEW ZEALANDER.
(/Received This Day, 1.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 21. The women’s swimming championship carnival was concluded at the Coogee Baths to-night. The chief event, the 880 yards championship* of New South Wales was won by the New Zealander, Mona Leydon from Marion Cockburn and Hazel Wagner by twenty-five yards. Time, 12min. 35 3-5 secs. Miss Leydon also competed in a heat of the hundred yards, in which she finished third.
