I ANNUAL REPORT. . The annual report of the Old Girls’ Hockey Club for the past year states:—“Our senior team, which was hard to fill, was responsible for a great improvement as the season advanced, and, after several hard games, came out runners-up in the northern section, which was quite a creditable performance. Our junior team came through the season without a loss, and won both the Wairarapa junior champion- ■ ship and the Morris Challenge Cup, and for the third time have had their name inscribed on both these cups. Great credit is due to this team for the way they fought out their games, and with such a splendid performance. Our third grade team, although composed mostly of new players, and played short many a time, improved considerably, and some of these players will soon find their places in a junior team. To the following players we extend our congratulations' on their attaining representative honours:—ln the senior team: Mesdames M. Foster, T. Cole, M. Pickard, and Misse M.. Clark and E. Burns. In the junior team: Misses M. Smith, T. Smith, H. Gillespie and Mrs. M. Smith.”

The report goes on to refer to the club jersey scheme, which has been a great help to the players. The club’s finances are in a sound position and thanks are accorded to all helpers.
