ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP.
EVENTS ON DERWENT RIVER TO-DAY. TREMENDOUS INTEREST BEING SHOWN. (Received Friday, 11.25 p.m.) HOBART, May 4. The King’s Cup eight-oar rowing championship of Australia, in which crews from all States will take part over a three miles course is being held to-morrow on the Derwent River, also the sculling championship. The event is creating tremendous interest.
