MEETING OF MASTEBTON ASSOCIATION. DONATIONS BY JUDGES. The monthly meeting of the general committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association was held yesterday. The president, Mr. Adam McKay, occupied the chair and there was a fair attendance of members. Mr. H. Lancaster, Glen Oroua, one of the judges at the recent show, forwarded part of his fee as a donation to the society. He expressed grateful thanks to the stewards, who so ably carried out their duties, and also congratulated the exhibitors on the condition in which they had brought their forward. The calf club exhibits were wonderful and the children were to be congratulated on the result of .heir efforts. The judging of the classes had been no easy job. He also made several suggestions for consideration prior to next year's Show. In returning his judge's cheque as a donation to the society's funds, Mr. W. McL’Dowie, Hawera, expressed fin cere thanks to the committee and officials for the courteous manner in which they attended to him and entertai aoI him while at the Show.

The Clydesdale Horse Society of New Zealand wrote stating that ifter April 30 no entries would be revived by the society unless from registered dams. In asking that publicity be given to the matter, the society stated that it did not want any breeders to miss the opportunity of qualifying their stock for registration.

Messrs. A. McKay and R. M. Perry were appointed as the association's delegates to the annual conference of the North Island A. and P. Associations.
