SWEDE GROWING.
SUTTON CUP COMPETITION. Entries are now coming to hand for the Sutton Cup swede growing competition. They include'-quite a number of new competitors. With such a favourable growing season the crops arelooking extremely well and it is hoped: that with the additional prizes of fertilizers, record entries will be received. Competitors are reminded that entries close with the secretary of the Farm- : ers’ Union, Mr. J. Watson, on March 31.
