ANOTHER MAJOR PROBLEM SOLVED. PROPELLER PITCH VARIED. LONDON, August 27. A Gloucester aircraft firm has solved another major air problem, immensely increasing an aeroplane’s safety and efficiency, by perfecting a device automatically varying the pitch of the .propeller in flight, eliminating vibration and damage to the machine, and enabling landings to be made in smaller space.
