The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following advice from, their London House, dated August 23 (last week’s quotations in parentheses):—
Butter. —New Zealand choicest salted, 91/- per cwt (S’!/- to 92/-). Cheese.—White, 47/- to 48/- per cwt. (49/-). Coloured, 51/- per cwt. (52/-). Very quiet. Tallow (Quotations at July 20 in parentheses).—Fine mutton, 24/- per Cwt. (24/6); good hoof, 22/9 per cwt. (22/9); mixed, 21/9 per cwt (22/9). Market quiet.
