Daladier, M. Blum declared that the Socialists disapproved of the Four Power Pact because it introduced an oligarchy into international relations. M. Franklin Bouillon said the revision of treaties meant the spoliation of France’s allies. Germany should never be conceded the right to rearm. The Chamber passed a motion of confidence in the Government by 439 votes to 107.
