REVOLUTIONARY PLOT.
TIMELY DISCOVERY IN SPAIN. MANY ARRESTS MADE. (Received Wednesday, 8.55 p.m.) LONDON, April 5. The British United Press correspondent at Madrid says that Cabinet, for three hours discussed the discovery of a revolutionary plot, planned for the anniversary of the overthrow of the Monarchy on April 14. The police arrested 160 syndicalists and three anarchists. The government will probably close the Cortes for twenty days in order to have a free hand to deal with the situation.
