WOMEN’S DIVISION.
MASTERTON BRANCH ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Masterton branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was held yesterday, Mrs Alex. Donald (president) occupying the chair. The annual report (previously published) and balance sheet were adopted. Officers were elected as follow for the ensuing year: President, Mrs Alex. Donald; vice-presidents: Mesdames D. "A. Cameron, W. James, and A. McGregor; secretary Miss C. N. Evans; committee: Mesdames J. McLeod ,J. James, W. James, E. J. Wright, T. R. Barter, Albert Donald, C. C. Jackson, G. Reynolds, D. C. Cameron, Alex. McGregor, G. Shaw, W. H. Jackson, Neil McKay, Stewart, Misses N. McKay, C. Evans, M. Wright, E. Bennett, R. and M. Jackson. It has been suggested that the Division hold a shop day on May 11 to raise funds. Mrs H. A. Evans, Kopuaranga, and A. A. Cameron, Renall Street, were thanked for parcels of clothing.
