CINEMA DISASTER.
FORTY-ONE PERSONS KILLED IN MEXICO. FIRE CAUSES PANIC. VANCOUVER, March 14. A message from Guadala Jara, Mexico, states that forty-one persons were killed and seventy gravely injured on Monday night in a motion picture theatre fire in the town of Ahualolco, near there. A high-tension wire short-circuited was the cause. The panic-stricken audience stampeded, and twenty were trampled to death, and twenty were electrocuted when the wire dropped across the handrail along the front of the gallery.
