The featured players are Jean Biondell, starred for the first time as a nurse who turns detective, and George Brent, who has the part of a police inspector. The scenes are laid in and about New York City and the title of “Miss Pinkerton ” is given to the nurse because she clever in deduction. The story is woven about a clever nurse who is called by the police to take care of an elderly woman who is prostrated by the sudden fatal shooting of her nephew. It is not known whether the death is an accident, suicide or murder; and there is a matter of 100,000 dollars insurance involved.
