CHRISTMAS CHEER.
DISTRIBUTION OF MEAT ON SATURDAY. ASSISTANCE FOR THE NEEDY. Through the generosity of a number of district farmers and residents of Masterton, the Mayor, Mr. T. Jordan, will be able to make a special distribution of moat to distressed Masterton families for Christmas. The issue of the meat will be made on Saturday morning from the shop of Messrs H. B. He acknowledges the assistance he has received for some time from Mr. H. B. Thomas in the distribution of meat, and also donations of sheep, from the following:—Mesdames H. Holmes and W. A.
