FARM TRAINING.
GAMP AT THE PENROSE FARM. OPENING FOR MASTERTON BOYS. Mr. Len. J. Greenberg, General Secretary of the Wellington Y.M.C.A., who is to take charge, for the Wellington Boy Employment Committee, of the camp to be opened at the Training Farm at Penrose on December 28, was in Masterton yesterday making preliminary arrangements. Mr. Greenberg states that places will be kept in the camp for ten Masterton or district boys desirous of receiving agricultural training, and intending to seek work on the land. Sons of unemployed fathers will be given preference. Boys accepted will be maintained free for the period of the camp. Application may be made to Mr. A. E Bate, of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. Mr. Greenberg is very grateful to the Masterton A. and P. Association for its generosity in undertaking to secure donations of fifty carcases of meat for the eamp.
