WEATHER IN JUNE.

MISS R. ROBINSON’S REPORT. Miss R. H. Robinson reports as follows for June:— Rainfall.—The total rainfall for June was 2.69 in. This was well below the average of 3.48 in. over the last 22 years. The two heaviest falls, of 55 points fell on the 6th and 16th. For the corresponding period last year 4.31 in. fell on 18 days, the heaviest fall being 87 points.

Bright Sunshine.—There were 130 hrs. 80min. of 'bright sunshine on 26 days, the longest burn of Bhrs. ISmin. being on the 13th. This is far above the average of 108 hrs. 18min. over the last 18 years. For June, 1931, the -total was HO'ihrs., on 23 days. The lowest terrestrial reading was 20.4 deg., on the 30th. There were 17 frosts recorded, the hardest being lOdeg., as against 16 frosts in 1931, the hardest being 12deg. Solar radiation varied between 112.6 and 75.6 degrees.
