NAVY LEAGUE.
LADIES’ AUXILIARY MEETING. VISIT OF MR. DARROCH. A meeting of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Masterton branch of the Navy League was held yesterday. There were present: Mes James A. H. Daniell, A. W. Don, H. McKenzie Douglas, W. A. Michael, 'S. R. Gawith, C. M. Strouts and Misses Cameron and McLaren. iMrs. A. H. Daniell occupied the chair. Apologies for absence were received from Mesadmes R. E. Maunsell, O. A. Bunny, E. G. Eton, IL C. Drummond, W. H. Robieson and Misses B. Vallance, Gray and Daniell. Arrangements were made for the visit of Mr. R. Darroch, secretary of the Wellington branch of the Navy League, who would be in Masterton from July 11 to July 15 to address the school children of the district on Empire trading.
An invitation was received from the League of Nations Union for members to be present at the address to be given by His Grace Archbishop O’Shea on Thursday evening.
