DEADLOCK IN FRANCE.
TROUBLE OVER GOVERNMENT’S POLICY. OBJECTIONS BY SOCIALISTS. PARIS, July 3. A deadlock has arisen over the Government’s economies. The RadicalSocialist supporters of M. Herriot have joined the Socialists in rejecting economies totalling £9,000,000. M. Palmade, the Budget Minister, declares that it is impossible to accept the rejection of the Chamber’s finance commission, and is now attempting a compromise.
