SIR S. ARGYLE TO FORM MINISTRY. OFFER OF SEATS TO COUNTRY PARTY. ANNOUNCEMENT TO-NIGHT. (Received Tuesday, 7.20 p.m.) MELBOURNE, May 17. The Lieutenant-Governor, Sir William Irvine, has invited the Leader of the United Australia Party, Sir Stanley Argyle, to form a Ministry. Sir S. Argyle has accepted the commission and will probably announce the personnel of the Ministry to-morrow night. He hopes to form a composite Ministry, which will include several Country Party members.
