PIRINOA GOLF CLUB.
RESULTS OF CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY. DRAW FOR SATURDAY. (“The Age" Special.) A flag competition was played on Saturday by members of the Pirinoa Golf Club, the men's game resulting in a tie between J. Riwai and V. Saunders. The ladies' match was won by Mrs. J. Phillips. Playing in the semi-finals for the senior championship, A. Warren beat T. Hume. The winner meets B. McMaster in the final. In the semi-final for the junior championship, R. Murphy defeated S. Hall, and will meet B. Doughty in the final. The fourth round of the Campbell Cup is to be played on Saturday. The draw is as follows:—W. Campbell v. G. Sutherland; R. King v. J. McMaster; T. Hume v. B. Doughty; D. Munro v. J. Phillips; R. McDougall v. J. Garter; V. Saunders v. B. McMaster; R. Hume v. D. Jones; L. McHwraith v. S. Hall; R. Murphy v. J. Riwai. The fourth round of the Phillips Rose Bowl will also be played on Saturday. Following is the draw:—Mrs. Carter v. Miss Trotman; Mrs. Busch v. Miss Munro; Miss Carter v. Mrs. Spicer; Mrs. Phillips v. Mrs. Hutana; Mrs. Latham v. Mrs. Atkinson; Mrs. McDougall v. Mrs. Warren; Miss Sutherland v. Mrs. McKenzie.
