NAVY LEAGUE.
MEETING OF WOMEN’S AUXILIARY. VISIT. OF MR. DARROCH NEXT WEEK. The president, Mrs R. E. Maunsell, occupied the chair at a meeting of the Women's Auxiliary of the Masterton branch of the Navy League, held yesterday. Those present were:—Mes'dames F. Whitton, W. A. Michael, S. J. Gill, R. C. Drummond, Misses B. Variance, Cameron, Gray and A. Sellar (secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames W. H. Jackson, S. R. Gawith, R. F. R. Beethnm, C. C. Jackson, H. McKenzie Douglas and W. H. Robieson. Arrangements were completed for the visit to Masterton next week of Mr. R. Darroch, secretary of the Wellington branch of the league. Mr. Darroch will arrive next Tuesday nrorning and will deliver addresses to school children on Empire Trading during the remainder of the week. He vVill also ’give an address in St. Matthew’s Parish Hall on Friday, July 24 at 2.30 p.m.. to which members of all women's organisations are cordially invited.
