■ DONOVAN BEATS JONES ON POINTS. NEW PLYMOUTH. April 6. Tommy Donovan (Waitara). New Zealand featherweight and lightweight ehampion, at Hawcra outpointed Jack Jones (Hawera). ex-ehampion of Wales. The fight went the full distance, but Donovan was* too fast and nigged for Jones and wore his opponent down. Jones boxed well. Donovan did a fair amount of holding. (P.A.)
