FIRE AT AUCKLAND.
FACTORY BADLY DAMAGED. HURRIED EXITS. , AUCKLAND, November 4. ( A fire caused extensive damage to the upholstery, furniture and woodwork factory of Tattersfield Ltd., Grey Lynn. Six men who were working in the upholstery department on the top storey, where the outbreak occurred were forced to make hurried exits, while a youth was affected by the fumes and had to be assisted from the building. The damage is estimatled at between £3500 and £4OOO and is covered by insurance.—(P.A.)
