MASTERTON HARRIERS.

NEXT SATURDAY’S EVENT. To enable members to obtain more prints for the Shaw Rose Bowl, the Masterton Harrier Club will hold a five miles open handicap race on Saturday. Trophies will be awarded to those gaining first and second places and a Small entry fee will be charged. The race will commence from the Park at the usual time (2.30 p.m.). This race should be good training for the members of the A and B teams who will journey to Wellington on the following Saturday and there compete in the provincial championships. Mr. L. A. Keats, the sole selector, has chosen the following to represent the club at the championships:— A Team.—L. Hack, L. Rutherfurd, W. Hack, R, Campbell, S. Carr (capt?, and S. Spicer. B Team.—J.
