SEED GROWING.
AN ILLUSTRATED LECTURE. An illustrated lecture on the commercial production of seeds is to be delivered in the Municipal Buildings to-morrow evening by Mr. J. W. Hatfield, Agronomist to the Department of Agriculture. The seed growing in- • duatry is capable of great development in various parts of the Dominion and probably as well in the Wairarapa as anywhere. It has important possibilities as a means of utilising land profitably in small areas of a fewacres and in conditions which afford a considerable amount of employment for members of both sexes. The lecture has been arranged by the Small Holdings Association and Mr. G. H. Perry will preride.
