DRINKING BY WOMEN.
AUCKLAND POLICE: REPORTS. A GROWING EVIL, AUCKLAND, June -f. When the chairman of the Auckland Licensing Committee to-day remarked that the police reports on the hotels contained reference to drinking by women, Sub-Inspector Lander said there was nothing to show that young women were frequenting hotels.
