WEDDING.
NEIGHBOURS—LARSEN. A very pretty wedding was celebrated in the Lutheran Church, Mauriceville, on Wednesday afternoon. The contracting parties were Miss Bita Larsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs L. P. Larsen, of Mauriceville West, and Mr. Leslie Neighbours, son of Mr and Mrs J. Neighbours, of Waimangaroa. The Rev. Christensen performed the ceremony, which was attended by a large number of guests. The bride was gowned in a charmingly designed frock of white crepe de chine, with lace sleeves. The head-dress* and veil of tulle was trimmed with the orthodox orange blossom. Dainty silver shoes completed a delightful ensemble. She carried a bouquet of freezias and maidenhair fern Miss Mary Larsen, who acted as bridesmaid, wa*s gowned in a very beautiful frock of green georgette, with felt hat to match, trimmed in silver. She also wore .silver shoes and carried a bouquet of freezing, anemones and maidenhair fern. Two little maids, Joyce and Doris Nielsen, attended as flower girls, and wore dainty pink crepe de chine frocks with caps to match. Mr. Harold Neighbours attended the bridegroom as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents.
