THANKSGIVING CONCERT.
ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED. Arrangements for the concert to be given on Sunday night in the Opera House have now been completed. The following soloists have readily consented to assist: —Mrs. J. A. Rosewarne, Miss Perry, Miss Johnston, Messrs. T. Vaughan, S. J. Smith and H. J. Jones. Mrs. W. G. Perry will be accompaniste. The Arts and Crafts, per Mr. M. G. Mac Kay, are lending a piano. A party of six members of the Rotary Club will have charge of the house and attend to general arrangements. The Municipal Band will contribute suitable items, and with these, together with those of the above-mentioned soloists, an attractive programme is assured.
A full attendance is anticipated and such a response to the Mayor’s appeal as will permit a substantial contribution to be made to the Earthquake Relief Fund.
