FINAL WANGANUI SALE. MEDIUM AND INFERIOR LINES SELL WELL. THE RANGE OF PRCES. WANGANUI, April 10. At the final wool sale of the Wanganui season to-day 7432 bales were offered and almost a total clearance effected. .There was a full bench of buyers, who bid freely. While super fine wools, of which there was a very small offering, declined a shade on February prices, medium was par to halfpenny up and inferior a halfpenny to penny up, France being , an especially good buyer. The range of prices was as follow: Extra fine bred, 48/50, average, 15d to 16d; inferior 13d to 14d Fine Crossbred, 46/48. —Average, 14d to 15id; inferior, lid to 13jd. Medium Crossbred, 44/46. —Super, 14)4 to 15Jd; average, 13Jd to 14Jd‘; inferior, Hid to 13d. Coarse Crossbred, 40/44. —Super, 13Jd to 14d; average, 12d to 12jd; inferior, lid to 12d. Low Crossbred, 36/40. —Average, lid to 12id; inferior, 9d to 10id. Hoggets.—4B/50, 15d to 15Jd; fine, 46/48, 14d to 15d; medium, 44/46, 13d to 14d; coarse and low, lid to 12d. Lambs.—Down, 14Jd to 15}d; fine 15d to 15}d; medium, 13jd to 15d; seedy and inferior, 6d to 12d. Bellies and Pieces.—Crossbred, good, to super, 104 d to 12Jd; crossbred, low to medium, 7d to 9jd. Crutchings.—Medium to good, lOd to lOJd; *inferior and seedy, 5d to Bd. Locks.—Crossbred, 5d to 7d.—(P.A.)
