PUBLIC FAREWELL.
TO HON. A. D. McLEOD AND MRS. McLEOD. A very large attendance is anticipated at the Martinborough Town Hall to-morrow evening, when the Hon. A. D. McLeod and Mrs McLeod are to be tendered a public farewell en the eve of their departure on a visit to Great Britain. .It is particularly desired that every part of the electorate should be represented. The Right Hon. J. G. Coates has telegraphed that he intends to be present if he can dispose of some prior engagements into which he had entered before the date of to-morrow evening’s fumy ion cad been decided upon. Mr W. B. Martin Mayor of Martinborough, will preside and others who have signified their intention of attending include Messrs J. UnkJater, M.P. for Manawatu; W. H. Field M P for Otaki; G. R. Sykes, M.P. for Masterton: J. F. Thompson (Greytown), H. Morrison, D. McGregor, W. Colman, J. W. Card. J. W. Kershaw, T. Jordan, and W. Fisher. Brief speeches will be delivered by leading Wairarapa residents and others and a musical programme has also been arranged of which some particulars are advertised to-dfcy.
