REBEL EXECUTED.
GENERAL IN MEXICAN REVOLT. CAPTURED AFTER BRIEF FIGHT. MEXICO CITY, March 21. General Jesus Aguirre, chief rebel commander in the Province of Vera Cruz, was executed at Lamagras in the Vera Cruz Province on Thursday after a court martial. He was captured on Wednesday after a.brief fight between the Federals and his few followers, in which two generals were killed. Aguirre took part in the Huerta revolt five years ago. President Portes Gil wired General Acosta to take photographs of Aguirre before and after the execution to convince the public. Aguirre’s brother, Simon, also a rebel leader, was captured and executed ten days ago.—(Australian Press Association.—United Service.)
