WEDDING OF ARTISTS.

There w'as a Bohemian touch at the London wedding of Miiss Meraud Guinness, the 24 year-old daughter of Mr. Benjamin Guinness, the millonaire, and Senor Alvaro Guevara, the young Chilian. artist whom, she met a few months ago at a Paris art exhibition.

The bride wore a red velv*er costume with a black lace pierrot collar and cuffs. She had bright, red shoes and beige 'stockings. Her black hat was trimmed/ with a red feather and she wore an ornament of brilliants in her buttonhole. At the last moment, as the ceremony at the Henrietta Street, Co vent Garden, register office was about to start, the bride suddenly exclaimed, “I want some flowers! Oh, do please get me some fl-ower®,’’ she repeated, turning to the guest®.

A woman friend at once rushed out to a neighbouring florist andl soon returned with a large bouquet of daffodil® and whitfi lilac. This she handed 1 to the bride and the registar was then able to proceed with the ceremony. Miss Guinness was a student at the Slade School, and she hast also studied ini France. Recently she gave an exhibition of her work in Paris, and its Futuristic tendencies cansed a great deal of discussion. Miss ‘GuiT'.ness, however, is not altogether indifferent to the claims of society life, for one of the most attractive balls of th© season was that 'given for her by her mother at Carlton House Terrate, when 400 guests attended in ma.sks, which, were not removed until midnight.
