Recent rates were well maintained and a [good sale resulted at the following prices: 83 m.a. ewes, 245; 65 5-year lewes, 21s 8d; 34 do, 22s 2d; 74 do, 20is»;| 133 aged ewes, 18s; 29 do, 14s 6d; 43 do, 15s fid; 22 do, 14s 3d; 34 good b.f. lambs, 2 9 s lid; 104 wether lambs, 19s 2d; 'small lambs, 12s to 15s; 38 2-th wether’s, 26s lGd. Romney rams sduT well at 3| to 6| gns. Southdown rams were in over-supply and made 1 to 3 gns. Store eows, £4 Is.
