I COMELY IN QUEEN STREET Work upon the preparation of the film, “A Daughter of Maisterton’’ is , proceeding apace and yesterday the • producer, Mr. R. Hayward and his as-. I'sistants were busy “shouting” further scenes in front of the Hotel Midland. An interested crowd gathered to watch the proceedings and some of its mem bers found themselves pressed into service as supers. Several" well-known ; citizens will presently make their ap- i pearance on the silver screen.. The principals in the comedy, Miss Claire St. Clair, Mr E. Newland and Mr. G. : Trevellyn, figured in scenes in which a service car, duly manned by its driver, fo’Tned part of the setting. Miss St. Clair is a dainty leading lady, and Trevellyn proved himsetlf as good in dumb-show comedy as he has previously shown himself on the local amateur stage. He had a rough time of it in*, yom? of yesterday’s scenes. The a<pi pparance of the film will be awaited • with a great deal of interest.
