COLLISION AT TAUERU.
MB. C. F. VALLANCE INJURED. A collision occurred shortly before 9 a.m. yesterday between a "motor ear driven by Mr. C. F. Vallance, of “Kahummre,” and a motor lorry, loaded withVjad metal, belonging to Mr. W. Kilminster, carrier, of Masterton. The accident occurred opposite the Taueru! School, near the hotel. The wind screen °f Mr. Vallance’s car was shattered, and he received a cut on the lips which! necessitated one or two stitches. It is! understood that Mr. Vallance was on his way to the Wellington Racing Club’s meeting at Trentham, and had as a passenger, Miss Williams, who escaped injury. It was renorted last night that Mr. Vallance was suffering somewhat from shock.
