McKenzie; treasurer, Bro. R. Smith; Inner Guard, Bro. W. L. Bannin; Outer Guard, Bro. H. Bain; Sick Druids’ Bards, Bros. M. Hodder and A. Anderson; Vice-Arch Bards, Bros. B. W. Renal! and C. Swinn; Musician Bro. C. C. Kitchen; Auditor, Bro. I. Hart; delegate to Grand Lodge, Bros. C. Reid; delegates to Friendly 'Societies’ Council. Bros. B. Smith and E. McKenzie. Bro. H. Matson was nominated for the office of District President. The installation will take place next Lodge night. FEATHERSTON (“The Age” Special) Mr O. Bergh (Christchurch) has been spending a few days here. Miss E. Card (Featherston) left on Saturday for Christchurch. She wili return in a few days, accompanied by Mrs Wakely, who has been spending a fortnight's hol/lay in the South. Mrs E. F. Trustrum (Featherston) is spending a week's holiday in Wellington with her parents, Mr and Mrs Barton.

1 Mr J. Smith, of the local staff of the Power Board, left on his annual leave yesterday. He will be relieved during his vacation by Mr W. Boston as acting On Sunday next at St. John’s Church , the evening service will consisi, of a relay by wireless, of the service at St Themis's Church, Wellington. This is being done through the kindness of Mr W. C. Ball, who is supplying the instruments, etc. ’ Boy Scouts. On Saturday afternoon, twenty-one Wolf Cubs and Scouts in charge of Cult Mistress Hubbard and her assistant, Miss Marlin Johns, of the Masterton Pack, paid! a visit to Featherston. They were met by the local Scouts and Cubs and proceeded to the Domain where games were indulged. Later the visitors were entertained by the various members of the Scouts at their homes at tea and returned to Masterton later after a most enjoyable time. Croquet. The Featherston Croquet Club helfl the last of its evenings in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Thursday night when a largo number of friends and members were present. The following were the results: Miss W. Williams. 1; Mrs Barclay, 2; Mr Geo. Walker, 3; Mrs R. Charles, 4; Mrs Edwards, consolation. A competition for a box of chocolates was held and was won by Mns W. Franks. The supper, which was supplied by the ladies, was thoroughly enjoyed.
