CONVICTION QUASHED.
DECISION OF APPEAL COURT. (Received This Day, 0.38 a.m.) ADELAIDE, August 12. The Court of Criminal Appeal quashed the conviction of Johann Thiele for the murder of his wife, substituting one of manslaughter. Thiele was sentenced to life imprisonment with hard! labour.—(Australian Press Association)
