IMPORTATION OF CHINESE. INTO AUSTRALIA. HIGH OFFICIALS SAID TO BE IMPLICATED. (Received Monday, 7.50 p.m.) DARWTN, August 13. Mr. Nelson, a member of the Federal Parliament for the Northern Territory, makes startling allegations concerning the Importation of Chinese into Australia, asserting that high officials are implicated and that the Customs Department has obtained,, sworn declarations concerning the charges and forwarded them to headquarters.— (Australian Press Association.)
